Safety Reminder: GFCIs should be tested monthly to ensure they are in working condition. Whether you have a receptacle or circuit breaker GFCI, pushing the TEST button should turn off the power to the circuit. For the receptacle-type GFCI, pushing the TEST button should cause the RESET button to pop up. Replace any GFCI devices that are inoperative. If you are not trained to do this work, hire Travis Electric, or another qualified contractor, to perform these tasks!

Initially was happy with my choice of electricians. He had 4 weeks before we needed the work done. However, when it came time to start he did not respond to emails or calls very well. We were redoing our upstairs and needed the electric work done first. Unfortunately they started at the same time so it delayed the other workers by almost a day. Once the work was done, he never called or came back to see if everything was ok. Fast forward 3 months and I get a bill with a late charge and a threat saying they are going to send me to collections. Never received a bill prior to the notice. Then it took 3 days for a response to voicemails and emails. Would not recommend at allread more

I had a good experience with the technician and am so far happy with his work, but he arrived 2.5 hours late after I had taken time off work to wait for him. The owner (who scheduled the appointment) blamed the technician for double-booking himself. I won't use this company in the future.read more

The Travis Electric technician arrived in a timely fashion, replaced the faulty circuit breaker that caused our furnace to quit (in these horrid below zero temps too). He was very pleasant and courteous. We would use this company again.read more
